Fortune Favors the Daring

What started as Team Sketchy Racing, our family motocross race team, grew into something much bigger. Sketchy Performance & Fab was built from a lifelong passion for racing, fabrication, problem-solving, and building things differently.

Owner and operator Mike Denney brings more than 20 years of experience to the shop as a GM World Class Technician, fabricator, creative problem-solver, and the guy who can usually figure out how to build what doesn’t exist yet. From race machines and off-road rigs to street builds and completely custom projects, we’ve never been interested in cookie-cutter work.

We’re a family-owned shop built around craftsmanship, creativity, and the belief that if you can dream it, there’s probably a way to build it.

Custom fabrication is at the heart of what we do. From off-road rigs and race vehicles to street cars, motorcycles, restorations, and one-of-a-kind projects, we build, modify, repair, and fabricate to fit your vision.

Our capabilities include custom metalwork, welding and fabrication, brackets, mounts, fittings, suspension and drivetrain modifications, custom components, performance upgrades, repairs, and complete custom builds. If it needs to be designed, modified, strengthened, mounted, welded, or built from scratch, bring us the idea and let’s see what we can make happen.

Already started a project and ran out of time, tools, space or patience? Bring it to us. We’re happy to pick up where you left off, solve the problems holding it up, and get your project finished and road-ready.

Four wheels, two wheels, pavement, dirt, or something completely outside the box. We build cool shit.

We believe custom means custom. Your build shouldn’t look, perform, or feel like everyone else’s—it should reflect you and what you actually want to do with it.

That’s why we take the time to understand the vision, think through the details, and find the right solution instead of simply taking the easiest route. We care just as much about the fabrication you may never see as the finished product you will.

Whether we’re building an entire vehicle or one small bracket, our standard stays the same: do it right, make it functional, make it last, and build something we’re proud to put the Sketchy name behind.
